Tight singletrack through the woods around a 300 acre lake. Beautiful ride. Some small hills. A tight bridge and some log sections that you can go around if you choose. The Memphis area trail team cleaned this place up and added about a mile and a half. Trail is wide and clean with very little poison ivy now thanks to these folks. Not difficult. Go around twice.
Because it is an old TN state park, there is great parking, picnic tables, restrooms, and a bait shop to get a drink or ask questions.
From Interstate 40 Exit 25, on Collierville/Arlington Rd. go south approx. 9 miles to Macon Rd.<br />Turn left (east) and continue on Macon Rd. approx 2 miles. Turn right (south) on Fisherville Rd. Go about a mile on Fisherville Rd. and you will see the entrance to Herb Parsons State Park. Trailhead on left.
